Tasting notes: Tangerine, Butterscotch, Cocoa
Honduras Efren Sanchez is a washed Parainema from La Esmeranda farm in the El Paraíso municipality, grown at 1,400 metres. Produced by Efren Nefrali Sanchez, the coffee brings together juicy tangerine, rich butterscotch, and smooth cocoa. The cup balances bright citrus with deeper sweetness and a rounded character that remains both expressive and approachable.
Efren comes from a multigenerational coffee-growing family and learned the craft from his grandparents. After years of working alongside his family, he began managing his own plot about a decade ago and focused on producing high-quality coffee under his own name. His goal is to showcase the farm's potential, reinvest in the operation, and reach new markets. The 2025 harvest marked his first year exporting through Semilla.
