The Broadway Robusto Extra marks a milestone for Crowned Heads, being the first cigar to put the brand's name front and center on the band as part of a sweeping rebrand years in the making. Named after Nashville's famed downtown entertainment district where Crowned Heads is based, the blend pairs a hearty Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with a Jalapa binder and a three-region Nicaraguan filler from Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe, rolled at the renowned NACSA factory. This box-pressed Robusto Extra is the most compact of the three Broadway sizes, burning evenly from first light to last.
From the very first draw, cocoa powder, molasses, and cedar come charging forward, backed by roasted coffee, baking spice, and a steady pepper finish that builds beautifully over the roughly hour-long smoke. Tasting notes of earth, espresso, cedar, and a subtle spice round out a medium to full profile that stays flavorful and smooth from start to finish. A bold, concentrated expression of the Broadway blend for the smoker who wants maximum flavor in a tighter window.
