Introduction
Long Barn Pinot Noir is produced in California, United States, by the Fior di Sole winery. The winery was founded by Stefano Migotto and Valentina Guolo-Migotto, who brought their Italian winemaking heritage to Napa Valley to create wines that honour regional character and agricultural charm. Drawing inspiration from a historic long barn that represents the estate's countryside birthplace, the winemaking philosophy focuses on crafting approachable wines that reflect their rustic origin.
Wine Description
This wine exhibits a pale ruby colour and offers a soft, elegant sensory profile. The bouquet features bright aromas of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, complemented by subtle notes of spice and earth. On the palate, it is light to medium bodied and well balanced, delivering flavours of sweet red berries, redcurrant, and a touch of vanilla from oak aging. The wine is characterized by supple tannins and a smooth, lingering finish that maintains a refreshing acidity. Composed of 100% Pinot Noir, this vintage typically has an ABV of 13.5%.
