Privada Storytelling
Thor isn’t just a cigar—it’s a legend reborn. Crafted at the revered La Zona factory and aged for over six years, this box-pressed Habano takes its name from the mythic hammer-wielding figure of public domain lore. Just as Thor represents strength and endurance in popular culture, this cigar embodies resilience and mastery in tobacco form. The unique band, produced through an innovative printing method, underscores the boldness of the project—a statement piece as much as a smoke.
This cigar marks a turning point for La Zona: not just another release, but the beginning of a mythic identity. Thor is both a brand and a story, one that channels power, artistry, and timelessness into every draw.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Opens with a decadent chocolate brownie character laced with fruity Nicaraguan Habano notes and cedar. A syrupy sweetness builds, defying expectations with Maduro-like richness despite its Habano roots.
-
Second Third: Complexity deepens into cedar, golden cereal, and toasted hazelnut, wrapped in creamy, billowing smoke. Juicy fruit and chocolate syrups coat the palate for a surprising and indulgent experience.
-
Final Third: Cream and cedar return with flair, accented by lime salt and red pepper. A tropical fruit zing—like fresh pineapple—delivers a refreshing and vibrant close.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Thor is a cigar that breaks convention, rewriting what a Habano can be. Six years of aging elevate it beyond trend into artistry. At Privada, we search for cigars that tell a story, and Thor is a tale of strength, myth, and modern cigar-making genius. It belongs in the collection because it isn’t just smoked—it’s experienced.
